SLCL welcomes nine new faculty members

The School of Literatures, Cultures & Linguistics welcomed nine new faculty members this fall.

They join a group of talented faculty who lead externally funded and nationally recognized research projects, author major books and articles, and receive national and international awards and fellowships for their scholarship, service, and teaching.

They include as follows:

• Anastasia Tsilia, assistant professor, Department of Linguistics
• Yunxin Li, assistant professor, Department of East Asian Languages & Cultures
• Irene Kuo, assistant professor, Department of Germanic Languages & Literatures
• Amy Atiles, teaching assistant professor, Department of Linguistics
• Quillon Arkenstone, lecturer, Department of East Asian Languages & Cultures
• Anna Tosato, lecturer, Department of Religion
• Andriyana Baran, instructor, Department of Slavic Languages & Literatures
• Iliyana Dmitrova, adjunct senior lecturer, Department of Slavic Languages & Literatures
• Benjamin Arenstein, instructor, Department of Slavic Languages & Literatures
