You can Explore Paris beyond stereotypes; you can learn Russian and recognize the importance of United States-Russia political relations; you can understand the links between Latin America and the United States, as you learn more about the complexities of Latin American societies through Brazilian films.

You can better understand your communities by getting certified in translation and interpreting or exploring issues of bilingualism and identity among Latinx in the United States.

You can discover how the past shapes the present by focusing on ancient archaeology or environmental issues in colonial Latin America. 

You can also study abroad, and not only see the world, but also advance the ways you learn about your major, yourself, and your opportunities in an increasingly interconnected world. 

And whether you stay home or travel abroad, you’ll develop a better understanding of human experience across the globe and have the tools to become a more engaged and productive citizen, both of your own country and the world, and acquire the intercultural competence needed to succeed in and out of the classroom.
